Who we are and what this notice covers

This notice explains how KEVLAR WEALTH t/a Aregre (Kevlar Wealth, we, us) collects and uses your personal information when you use the calculators and tools on this website, and sets out the terms on which we provide those tools.

By submitting the form and confirming your agreement, you confirm that you have read and understood this notice and that you give the consents described below.

We are the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

  • Physical address (province, city or suburb)
  • The figures and answers you enter into the calculator itself

Your SA ID number and any financial information are treated as sensitive. Where applicable, medical aid information obtained through third-party data services is special personal information under POPIA, which we only process with your explicit consent.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

We use your information to:

  • Run the calculation you requested and show you the result.
  • Create and manage your Aregre account and provide the Aregre Financial Hub services.
  • Contact you about Aregre products and services you have asked about, and respond to your enquiries.

  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and keep proper records.

We rely on your consent and, for the calculation and account services, on the performance of our agreement with you as the lawful basis for this processing.

Where you request a service that relies on this, and subject to your consent, we may submit your identifying details to Astute so that Astute can request and return data about you from its content providers.
